From an early age, Mary McDermott has been drawn to music, finding her voice through singing, poetry, and songwriting. In 2015, she brought that passion to life by founding Illusion – A Tribute to Women Who Rock, celebrating the powerful legacy of female artists.
Over time, Mary discovered that her true joy lies not only in creating music, but in performing it—connecting deeply with audiences through emotion, storytelling, and stage presence. Inspired by the timeless music of Stevie Nicks and Fleetwood Mac, she channels their spirit with authenticity and heart.
Today, performing as Stevie Nicks in The Chain – A Fleetwood Mac Experience is the realization of a lifelong dream. Through every performance, Mary honors the music she loves while creating meaningful, unforgettable moments for her audience.
CC Keyz – Keyboards/Vocals
Cecile Spagna, professionally known as CC Keyz, is a Queens-born classically trained pianist, keyboardist, and vocalist with a rich background in theory, ear training, and recording.
She has collaborated and performed with rock, metal, blues , original, cover, and various tribute bands non-stop since the late 80s.
Aside from being a seasoned performer throughout the east and west coasts, she is also private piano instructor, a career she owns and loves for the past 20+ years.
For nearly a decade, CC is channeling the iconic Christine McVie with profound respect and feels that it’s truly an honor to pay tribute to her with The Chain – A Fleetwood Mac Experience !
Bob Murray – Guitar/Vocals
As founder, guitarist, and one of the driving creative forces behind The Chain, Bob Murray has helped shape the band into one of the region’s premier Fleetwood Mac tribute acts. A lifelong musician, he began playing trumpet at age 12 before teaching himself guitar and piano, developing a distinctive style guided by both formal music theory and a natural ability to play by ear. His passion for Fleetwood Mac, particularly Lindsey Buckingham’s signature fingerstyle guitar work, inspired years of study and performance.
In 2018, Bob launched The Chain, bringing together a group of accomplished musicians dedicated to recreating the timeless sound of Fleetwood Mac and Stevie Nicks. As guitarist, vocalist, and multi-instrumentalist, he continues to lead performances that capture the spirit and energy of the original band. His greatest reward is watching audiences sing along, dance, and relive the music they love.
Dennis Borro – Bass/Vocals
Dennis is a veteran bassist whose musicianship and deep musical roots form the backbone of The Chain – A Fleetwood Mac Experience. His journey began as a teenager at New York City’s renowned School of Performing Arts, where he studied music theory and performance art, developing the discipline and artistry that continue to define his playing.
Throughout his career, Dennis has performed with a wide range of bands, including Back to the Dead, a Grateful Dead tribute band, Rebos, where he performed classic hits and recorded original music, and The Disciples of Love. These experiences ultimately led him to co-found The Chain, bringing together decades of live performance and stylistic versatility.
Inspired by Fleetwood Mac bassist John McVie’s blues-based sensibility, Dennis focuses on groove, tone, and unwavering precision, always in service of the song. His solid, driving bass lines provide the rhythmic foundation that anchors The Chain’s authentic sound, capturing the feel, spirit, and musical integrity of Fleetwood Mac.
Damian Barker – Drums
Damian Barker is a versatile, Long Island-based drummer with over 40 years of experience behind the kit. A graduate of Berklee College of Music (1985–1987), Damian brings both formal training and deep real-world experience to every performance, moving fluidly across rock, jazz, R&B, funk, and Broadway show tunes.
Damian cut his teeth on the New York City club circuit, appearing at legendary venues including CBGB, The Bitter End, Kenny’s Castaways, The Cutting Room, and Connelly’s Pub — stages that shaped some of the most important voices in American music. As a member of the original Manhattan rock outfit The Sloe Guns, he helped define a raw, energetic sound rooted in the city’s vibrant underground scene. Through the 1990s, Damian toured with Organic Panic, bringing his rhythmic drive to audiences across New York, Colorado, and New Mexico.
Beyond the stage, Damian has provided the heartbeat for countless wedding celebrations throughout the greater New York area, earning a reputation as a dependable, musical, and professional performer in any setting.
Douglas Goerz – Guitar
With more than 40 years of experience as both a guitarist and sound engineer, Douglas Goerz brings a wealth of talent, creativity, and technical expertise to every performance. His versatile playing style, combined with a finely tuned ear for tone and rhythm, has made him a valued collaborator in both the studio and on stage. His passion for music continues to drive him to explore new sounds while delivering authentic, powerful performances.
Beyond the guitar, Douglas is highly respected for his sound engineering skills and deep knowledge of musical equipment. An avid collector of guitars, amplifiers, and effects pedals, he enjoys designing custom pedalboards and crafting signature tones that enhance every performance. Always searching for the next great riff or sound, his dedication to music and innovation is an essential part of The Chain’s authentic Fleetwood Mac experience.
